At ENGIE Energía Perú, we are working on a framework that allows us to help our clients consume energy efficiently and sustainably.
RENEWABLE ENERGY
In line with this, our energy projects in development aim to increase the generation and injection of clean energy into the system through various renewable sources, including:
Wind Power
In 2023, we began the commercial operation of the Punta Lomitas Wind Farm and its expansion, with a total installed capacity of 296.4 MW. The plant is located in the Ica region.
Additionally, we have an approximate total of 860 MW in wind generation projects at different stages of development.
Solar Power
In our portfolio, we have the Hanaqpampa Solar Project (up to 300 MWac), which received its definitive generation concession in 2023, and the Ruphay Solar Project (up to 93 MWac), which has obtained environmental permits and an approved pre-operational study.
ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION
We are assessing the development of electric transmission projects, mainly derived from private investment promotion processes organized by Proinversión (the Agency for the Promotion of Private Investment), to build transmission lines and substations for the guaranteed transmission system. Additionally, we are evaluating operation and maintenance projects for transmission infrastructure of mining clients.
